THE VOSAY COLLECTION
In collaboration with Vosay Collection Rashaad Newsome designed a capsule collection that centers creativity, community, environmental stewardship and social progress, all key elements to Vosay’s ethos. Amongst these furniture artworks are 6 coffee tables with accompanying stools that draw inspiration from hip hop culture and west african Antiquities. Collectively these pieces further engage Newsome’s interrogation of what we understand in the west as Dada, Cubism and Surrealism, art movements that he feels particularly connected to, partly because of their strong African inheritance.
